In ''MUST'', we will select a specific theme and suggest you five titles related to it. Weither it's the JRPGs from the 90s, the best racing games on PS2 or the best cheap NES games, our goal is to make you discover new games while learning new things about them at the same time. This will be the perfection occasion to expand your knowledge on the gaming industry, and some games will finally have the spotlight they deserve!

The Super Nintendo Entertainement System is the best home console of all time for a lot of people. With classic games such as Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid or Final Fantasy III, it's easy to understand where the love comes from.

But the entire library on the SNES in North America has 721 games in total and even though we all have our personal classics, a lot of amazing titles were forgotten over time. Today, I would like to share five hidden gems that clearly deserve your attention.

5. Kid Klown in Crazy Chase

Almost every game company in the 90s had a mascot and Kid Klown was Kemco's attempt at cashing in on the trend. The Kid Klown games are known for their unique gameplay mechanics that were always offering something different at the time, and it is also the case with this one. Kid Klown in Crazy Chase is a ''runner'' type of game, a genre that became very popular in the recent years due to games like Subway Surfers or Temple Runner. For the time, it was pretty refreshing, and I have fond memories of this game.

4. Uniracers

Developped by DMA Design, the studio that would later become Rockstar North and work on the Grand Theft Auto series, Uniracers is side-scrolling arcade racing game like none others. Often described by many as Nintendo's answer to Sonic the Hedgehog, it's a title with fast-paced gameplay in which any mistake can cost you the victory. The graphics are digitalized like the ones from Mortal Kombat and Donkey Kong Country. Let's end this on a fun fact; if you type Sonic as the name of your unicycle, the game will refuse the name stating that it's not ''cool'' enough, well played Nintendo.

3. Saturday Night Slam Masters

I'm not a huge wrestling fan, so for a wrestling game to be in my personal top 5 hidden gems list, it needs to be something completely insane. Saturday Night Slam Masters by Capcom is a perfect mix between a traditional tournament fighter and a traditional wresting game. You can play as Mayor Haggar from the Final Fight series, Gunloc, a relative of Guilde in the Street Fighter series and a lot of original characters specifically designed for the franchise. Originally released in the arcade, the SNES port allows you to use the multitap to play with 4 friends in the Team Battle Royale mode, fun time guaranteed!

2. Adventures of Batman & Robin

Another smash hit by Konami, Adventures of Batman & Robin is often considered one of the better Batman games, but also one of the hardest. Inspired by the ''Batman Animated Series'', it is a side-scroller 2D plateformer with beat-em-up elements and a lot of variety in its level design. A love letter to the fan of the series, and an absolute challenge for those looking for something new to play!

1. The Legend of the Mystical Ninja

Ganbare Goemon is a Konami franchise extremely popular in Japan. Only four of 22 games came out in North America, The Legend of Mystical Ninja being the first one. I rented this game so many times as a kid and I remember getting hooked as soon as I started to play. The soundtrack, the graphics, the gameplay, is an absolute masterpiece, you can feel the Konami seal of quality on this one. One of the best thing about this game is the co-op mode, it is so easy to drop in and drop out at any given moment, and I remember being impressed by this at the time, it wasn't something a lot of games could do. One of the better games out there, and probably my favorite co-op experience of all time on the system.

Do you know any of these games? Are you owning some of them in your collection? Let us know what is your favorite hidden gem on the system!
